Arsenal player names the Chelsea player who he would choose in his fantasy XI, and it’s not Eden Hazard

Arsenal star Alex Iwobi has had his say over which Chelsea player he would have in his fantasy team.

The Nigeria international said he’d want former Chelsea man Kevin De Bruyne in his team, and would even name him as captain for double points given his current form.

Given the star qualities of Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata and their fantasy potential, you might expect one of those two to be picked out by Iwobi.

But in the end he plumped for a more outlandish and outside the box choice.

Football.London quote the Arsenal man as naming quite a different player for his Chelsea choice:

“I’d probably put in Azpilicueta because for a defender, he’s been getting a couple of assists. He’s been playing well. He’ll probably get you a lot of points.”

Azpi is a great choice, given he gets plenty of clean sheets, and as Iwobi says, is racking up the assists this season. His crosses to Alvaro Morata have lead to more goals than any other combination in the Premier League this season.

Good choice Alex.
