rarJay DaSilva was one of the youngest players at the club to be on loan last season when he joined Charlton as an 18 year old. Now 19, he’s enjoying one of the unique rewards of playing in the English lower divisions as a Chelsea loanee.
DaSilva is starting his 16th game of the season already, with his club playing their 17th fixture of their league season against Rochdale this evening. This is a huge amount more than, say Vitesse, who have only played 12 games.
.@England boss Gareth Southgate asked Jay Dasilva to train with his squad in the last international break.

For a young player like Dasilva, who has shown a huge amount of quality through youth divisions and now just needs as many senior minutes as possible to prepare him for the senior game, this is ideal.
The right back is a first team regular for the Addicks, but for players who are at English league clubs trying to break into the team, the number of fixtures means more chances for them to show what they can do.
