”It’s not easy… I will play some bad games” – Chelsea star lowering expectations

Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has warned his fans not to expect too much from him this season, as he’s still yet to find his full fitness following his major ankle injury this summer.

The Blues forward is yet to score in the Premier League this season, but was very impressive in Belgium’s final match of the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers. His two goals saw the Red Devils win Cyprus 4-0, helping his side finish top of the group.

He was interviewed after the match and questioned about his current fitness and he admitted how hard it has been to come back from such a serious injury, lasting as long as three months.

I don’t know, I will see at the end of the season. I missed football for three months [and] it’s not easy to come back after a big injury but I did.

Hazard, having only made one start in the league this term, believes it will take time for him to finally reach his best form. He thinks that the fans should expect him to play a few bad games before seeing him play like he did last season.

I worked out during the summer. I just want to play football. I will miss some games, I will play bad for some games. I just want to play football and try to bring the best of me.
