Former Chelsea star in Chinese Super League set for a January return to Europe

Gazzetta Dello Sport report that former Chelsea midfielder Ramires is set for a return to Europe from his Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning.

Ramires moved from Chelsea to the CSL in 2016 after a hugely successful career at Stamford Bridge.

He enjoyed some great time with us at the club helping us to several victories and trophy haul. It was Ramires who scored the all important goal at the Camp Nou in 2012 that gave Chelsea the confidence to go on to to equalize through Fernando Torres deep in stoppage time to send us through to the final of the Champions League that year.

His time with us also saw us win the Europa League, and two Premier League titles.

After his move to China, he has made 37 appearances in their top flight and scored eight goals making him one of Suning’s best players at the moment.

The story by Dello Sport reveals Suning share the same owners as Italian giants Inter Milan who seek to beef up the Serie A side in the new year.

The report says Inter have agreed a deal to bring in the former Benfica midfielder in January on loan till the end of the European season, especially after the Chinese league ends in November.
