Eden Hazard reveals why Chelsea could not win against Roma

Chelsea struggled to pick up maximum points against AS Roma in the Champions League because “it’s not easy to win after two defeats” and that’s according to star forward Eden Hazard.

The 2012 Champions League winners led 2-0 in the first half but were pegged back immediately by an Edin Dzeko goal before the game eventually ended 3-3 following a brace from both Dzeko and Hazard.

When Chelsea took the 2-0 lead in the game, there was a great sense, this will be the first victory for Antonio Conte in three games following defeats to Manchester City and Crystal Palace.

However, Roma returned to Italy with one point and Hazard explained after the game on Wednesday it was because we didn’t go into the game with a winning momentum.

“It is a good result for both teams but when you are 2-0 up at home you must win the game. Edin Dzeko is a fantastic striker and we stay first in the group.

Now we have to play in Rome but we will try to win the game. After two defeats it’s not easy to bounce back.”

Hopefully the draw is enough step to another win as Chelsea fans will demand in our next game against Watford in the Premier League.
