Chelsea vs Everton – Team News

Chelsea have confirmed their starting line-up for tonight’s thrilling clash against Everton on the fourth round of the League Cup.

The Blues proceeded through onto the next stage of the tournament with a strong 5-1 win over Championship side Nottingham Forest last month, but have a much tougher side ahead now.

Everton are in very poor form though, as they’re currently in a five-game run without a win. Former boss Ronald Koeman has been sacked just days ago, which means the Toffees are currently managerless.

But, despite Everton’s poor start to the campaign, it wouldn’t be the first time that their luck turns around against Chelsea.

Antonio Conte has named a very rotated side today, as youngsters Kenedy, Charly Musonda and Ethan Ampadu all make the starting line-up. Danny Drinkwater has also recovered from his ankle injury and is set to make his debut in the Blue shirt.

In-form striker Michy Batshuayi starts upfront, with Willy Caballero replacing Thibaut Courtois between the sticks.
