Cesc Fabregas has described Jose Mourinho as his enemy in the days when he played against the Portuguese’s sides in Spain and formerly in England.
Fabregas has enjoyed some fruitful time in England after singing from Barcelona to Chelsea in the summer of 2015, winning two Premier League titles with the Blues as well as an EFL Cup.
But before this was when he was a Gunner at Arsenal and his short stint at Barcelona. In those times he played against Mourinho’s Chelsea and another Mourinho’s managed Real Madrid.
The 30-year old has settled in London with his family at the moment and is enjoying playing time under Antonio Conte this season after his less than impressive numbers last season.
When asked by magazine Vanity Fair, about his relationship with former manager Mourinho, Fabregas revealed as quoted by the Evening Standard, that they were enemies who turned allies for the greater good at Chelsea.
“He was my enemy when he was in charge at Madrid or Chelsea, competing and wanting to beat him.
From there I became his player at Chelsea and would go with him to death. I learned a lot, I have a very positive memory of him. Forever.”

Fabregas was one of Chelsea’s key players said have been behind the demise of Mourinho at Chelsea, a season after the Portuguese led us to the Premier League title.
He was linked to some dressing room revolt leadership that also included the now departed Diego Costa and few other senior players, although he has vehemently denied all such accusations.
