Alvaro Morata came off early against Arsenal and now has undergone tests in Madrid to determine what his issue was.
The Spanish press and football federation is always very specific and medically correct with these things, and they specify Morata’s issue as a grade II lesion in one of his isquiotibial muscles. To English football fans, that’s a hamstring tear, but not a ruptured or broken one.

The Spanish football federation has ruled him out of their games against Albania and Israel in this upcoming international break, but with two weeks till Chelsea’s next game there’s a good chance the striker will be back in Blue for then.
It’s against Crystal Palace anyway, so Antonio Conte won’t need to rush his number 9 back to full fitness, but either way an injury of this level of severity shouldn’t affect Morata’s season too negatively.
Maybe Michy will grab a couple for Belgium this week and finally show Antonio that he’s ready to start a game.
