Most Chelsea fans remember May 2012 for one reason: that was when the Blues lifted the Champions League at last. But there was also something else special happening that month.
The video, uploaded just over a week before that night in Munich, shows a teenage Charly Musonda tearing up the youth divisions in Belgium with Anderlecht.
Later that summer, Eden Hazard would famously announce that he was joining the “European Champions”. A little more under the radar was the arrival at the same time of Musonda and his brothers from Belgium. Who could have known at the start of May 2012 what an important month it would turn out to be in the history of this club.
