“Now is the right moment to start the game” – Chelsea boss confirms Hazard’s first start

Antonio Conte has held his pre-Nottingham Forest press conference, and there’s some excellent news for Chelsea fans.

Eden Hazard, whose last start for the Blues was in the FA Cup final against Arsenal back in May, is finally ready to start for the Blues once again.

It’s been a long road back for the Belgian, who broke his ankle just after the end of the season. He featured from the start for Belgium against Gibraltar during the international break, and many suspected he might be ready for a start against Qarabag or Arsenal in the last week.

Antonio Conte has been careful with the winger however, and has only now assured fans that he’s ready to play him from the start as Chelsea come up against Forest in the League Cup.

“I think for Eden now is the right moment to start the game and try to play the whole game,” Conte confirmed.

The only issue with this is the Stoke game this Saturday, given the Belgian is unlikely to be able to play two game in a week.
