Chelsea forward strongly denies rumours about his future

Tammy Abraham is the latest English talent looking to be poached by the Nigerian football federation.

Having already poached Chelsea players Victor Moses and Ola Aina in recent times, the Nigerian Football Federation are now turning their attention to Tammy, according to reports yesterday.

“It’s been a long  process but I can tell you authoritatively that he has agreed to play for Nigeria and not England” said Amaju Pinnick, Nigeria Football Federation president was quoted as saying.

However this has today been challenged by Tammy himself, who insists that he is still available for selection for England, for whom he has played through all of the youth levels. It’s well known that the striker’s father is friends with Pinnick, so one feels that it might just be a matter of time before he’s persuaded to join the Super Eagles. For now, however, Tammy is English. Call him up ASAP Gareth!
