Chelsea picked up only one point in their game against Arsenal last Sunday but the talking points after the game have been diverse. One of the notable debates was Victor Moses’ performance that seemed to anger the Chelsea fans.
Many of Blues fans took to social media to express their frustrations about the Nigerian’s display against the Gunners.
The right wing back was largely ineffective in the entire 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge but would this conversation had taken place a few match days ago?
Moses has been Antonio Conte’s only right wing back option, at times in the past, going with Cezar Apilicueta in the position when Moses was suspended, until transfer deadline day when the Blues secured Davide Zappacosta.
The Italian got his opportunity to impress in the Champions League against Qarabag and grabbed a goal to cap a fine performance. His display may have settled well in the minds of Chelsea fans who now call on Conte to start his compatriot ahead of Moses in coming games.
