Antonio Conte’s amazing run ended after Arsenal result

Chelsea failed to beat Arsenal at Stamford Bridge last Sunday after an unconvincing 0-0 draw, but deep in the stats records, Arsene Wenger ended an impressive home run by Antonio Conte.

The Italian had gone 27 games at Stamford Bridge without not having to score a goal in all competitions.

However, the stalemate with Arsenal meant Chelsea for the first time under Conte – since he took charge of the club in the summer of 2016, could not find the back of the net at home.

Meanwhile, the stats may look good for the Gunner with Arsenal ending a terrible defensive record at Stamford Bridge. It was the first time Arsenal have managed a clean sheet against Chelsea at the Bridge.

Wenger’s men had had picked the ball from their net in all 12 visits to West London but not on this occasion.

The last time there was a 0-0 results between Arsenal and Chelsea was back in April 2005.
