Chelsea have confirmed the deal to bring in Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid on a five year deal.
The Blues have chased the Real Madrid attacker the entire summer although they switched attentions to Romelu Lukaku temporitily to no avail.
Conte revealed earlier to Chelsea’s official website, Morata has always been his first choice with the Telegraph revealing after Chelsea agreed to sign the striker, they snapped him up for £58million.
The Premier League champions tweeted the announcement on Friday, with the caption ‘Alvaro Morata is a Chelsea player’.

Morata expressed his excitement at joining a ‘big club’ as he looks to find regular playing time following his ill-stints with Real Madrid and Juventus.

Morata’s 15 goals for Real Madrid in the La Liga last season won Zinedine Zidane’s side 13 points, the second highest behind Critiano Ronaldo’s 15 points won.
