Kenedy sent home from China after insulting post on Instagram

Chelsea have issued disciplinary action to Kenedy after he released a post on Instagram, seen to be insulting to China.

The winger is now facing a murky future at Stamford Bridge after Chelsea were forced to release an apologetic statement on the club’s website following Kenedy’s post on Instagram that read ‘Porra China’, which translates as the ‘F’ word.

The 21-year old has suffered a massive fall out with the people of China after the Chinese Communist Party mouthpiece, People’s Daily criticized him for his social media actions.

“Even though Kenedy and Chelsea Football club have both apologized the matter cannot be dropped.

“It is regrettable that he has said such nonsense. He has created an incident that has humiliated China, an incident that so many fans simply cannot tolerate.”

“Kenedy’s absurd comments are not only impolite, but also uneducated.” the paper concluded.

Kenedy later posted on Instagram an apology that read,

I’d like to apologize again here. My offending Chinese people was not intentional. I like China very much and feel grateful for the Chinese people’s warm hospitality. I thank you for your support and hope you can forgive me. I hereby sincerely apologize.

He will not play any further part in Chelsea’s preseason tour after the club decided to send him back to London. This means the player’s future at the club, which already looked bleak, will take a further dip.

Conte is chasing after another left wing back to augment or better the work of Marcos Alonso, a position he has been deployed during Chelsea’s preparatory games.
