Juventus reject Chelsea’s €100m bid for Gonzalo Higuan

According to Tuttosport, Chelsea have had their bid of £88m for Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuan turned down.

The Blues have been in search of a new striker – with Diego Costa set to leave this summer – and are thought to be monitoring the situation of most prolific strikers in Europe.

This has brought Antonio Conte’s side to his former club Juventus and Higuan seems top on the list of targets Chelsea want to sign from the Italian giants. Chelsea also reportedly have interest in signing Alex Sandro.

However, Tuttosport reports Juventus CEO Beppe Marota has rejected the initial mammoth offer for the Argentina forward and are not willing to part ways with Higuan who only joined the club last summer.

The Italian Serie A winners have lost Dani Alces to PSG and Leonardo Bonucci to AC Milan this summer and are poised not to lose anymore top players.

Chelsea are also reportedly interested in Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero and Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata.
