Chelsea prepare another £63million bid for Alex Sandro

Chelsea are willing to part ways with £63m for Juventus left wing back Alex Sandro according to Calciomercato.

The former FC Porto left back has attracted interest from West London the entire summer with Chelsea failing with initial bids to land their man.

Antonio Conte is the least happy with transfer activity at Chelsea and has reportedly told the club to spend to bring in more players ahead of next season with the Brazil international top on his list of players expected to arrive.

Currently, Marcos Alonso is holding the fort down on the left flank of Conte’s side but the Blues will offer him a lot of competition, should they successfully land Sandro.

Calciomercato says Chelsea will make a bid of € 70 million to land their number one defensive target this summer, a fee that will likely prompt Juventus into selling.

Sandro will become the most expensive defender in the world surpassing fees paid by Manchester City for Benjamin Mendy and Kyle Walker, both in excess of £50 million.

He is currently on a three-year deal at Juventus and is thought to be keen to leave although he will not force through the exit door with a transfer request.

The Brazilian will be Chelsea’s five signing this season after the arrival of Tiemoeue Bakayoko, Antonio Ridiger, Willy Caballero and Alvaro Morata.
