Chelsea miss out on another target as red-hot Bundesliga striker stays put

Chelsea will learn the hard way this summer after their search for a striker keeps getting crashed, with targets all over Europe moving elsewhere or staying put at their clubs.

The latest of them is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who according to Kicker in Germany, will no longer be on the transfer list at Borussia Dortmund.

Earlier, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke revealed Chelsea had to table a bid quickly or miss out on the Gabon international and it seems the deadline has passed.

The reliable German news outlet claims Chelsea will have to look elsewhere as Aubameyang, who resumed training with his side this week, will be a part of Peter Bosz’s plans next season.

Aubameyang scored 40 goals last season in all competitions, 31 of them coming against Bundesliga opposition as he swooped the top scorer award ahead of Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.

Neymar’s rumoured big money move to PSG could really be setting this window alight.
