Chelsea loan out bright prospect to Hull City

Chelsea are still doing business this transfer window and the latest of them is Hull City’s successful loan deal to land Ola Aina.

The 20-year old was part of Antonio Conte’s first team last season having earned two appearances under the Italian tactician but Chelsea believe he deserves more minutes and Hull is the right way.

The budding defender who also earned three appearances in domestic cup games last season is esteemed very highly by top officials at Chelsea and have huge expectations.

The move to Hull was expected as according to the Standard, the Tigers head coach Leonid Slutsky, revealed earlier this summer he has been in touch with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich for the services of some of his side’s academy players.

Aina joins Hull City to earn some more experience in his short professional career and with the official announcement of the deal by Chelsea on the club’s official site, the Blues expressed their satisfaction at the move.

Aina, 20, will link up with the Championship side to further his first-team experience having been a member of our title-winning squad last season.

The highly rated defender made his Chelsea debut in the League Cup win over Bristol Rovers at Stamford Bridge last September and went on to play six times in total during a memorable campaign.

At Academy level, Aina helped us lift three FA Youth Cups and two UEFA Youth Leagues.
