Tomas Kalas has made a huge turnaround on his future and is apparently on the verge of signing a new contract at Chelsea.
The defender had an excellent season at Fulham last term, following on from a successful spell at Middlesborough, and while the Czech international has not looked like he will break through at Chelsea for some time, he did look ready to make a permanent move to the Championship or even Premier League.
Now the news appears to be that the centre back will sign a new contract and go on loan again, possibly to Fulham. This is good news as he previously only had one year left on his deal, so any fee received would have been relatively small. Now we will be able to loan him again to further raise his value before eventually selling him on or, who knows, allowing him to return to Stamford Bridge as a first team player.
