Ruben Loftus-Cheek has completed a season long loan move to Crystal Palace.
Palace have made the midfielder their first signing of the summer, and Ruben will join up with new coach Frank de Boer as he looks to haul his new team clear of endless relegation battles.
The 21 year old only made 6 appearances for the champions last term, and after years of promise it’s universally agreed among Chelsea fans it’s time for him to try and make it at a team where he will hopefully be able to appear regularly.

Loftus-Cheek will hope that Palace’s attentions are focused on their defence and forward positions, leaving a clear path for him to establish himself in the first team early on.
One of the chief problems with RLC’s development so far has been his failure to establish himself in one position, sometimes appearing in defensive midfield and sometimes on the wing in his various sub appearances for Chelsea over the past few seasons. Hopefully new Palace manager Frank de Boer will help him work out where he fits best in the modern game.
