Bakayoko arrives in UK and posts Cobham picture ahead of Chelsea transfer

Chelsea target Tiemoue Bakayoko has arrived in the United Kingdom ahead of his move to Chelsea.

The protracted transfer is finally on its way to being sealed after the midfielder flew to U.K. via Eurostar according to the Sun.

He is set to join Antonio Conte’s side after the Blues marked him as a prime target this summer. Nathaniel Chalobah has been sold to Watford creating space for Bakayoko in the squad that also has N’Golo Kante, Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic.

Chelsea will pay AS Monaco £40m for their services of the French international per the Sun.

The midfielder posted a picture of Chelsea’s training grounds Cobham, with arrows pointing to the grass with the caption ‘soon’.

The 22-year old may push out Matic out of Chelsea with the Serbian determined to leave the Blues this summer. Manchester United have identified the midfielder as the ideal target to solve their defensive midfield problems and Matic is keen to reunite with Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea are however expected to announce the signing of Bakayoko Friday after he completes his medical.
