Antonio Conte wants Bayern Munich midfielder signed

Chelsea have entered the race to sign Bayern Munich’s Renato Sanchez after manager Antonio Conte asked the club’s officials to make an enquiry to sign the midfielder according to the Mirror.

Sanchez run Chelsea’s midfield rugged in Singapore in the Blues 3-2 defeat to Bayern and has since after attracted interest from Conte.

Manchester United remain interested in signing the Portuguese midfielder despite his massive drop in form last season in the German Bundesliga and according to Teamtalk, he has been told he can leave for around €48 million.

AC Milan are thought to be favorites for his signature though, but Chelsea may make a last minute launch into signing the combative midfielder on a season long loan deal.

The Euro 2016 winner is desperate for first team football and Conte may just be ready to give him what he craves at Stamford Bridge although he will have to fight for a place with the likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko, N’Golo Kante and Cesc Fabregas.

Any midfield arrival will signal the exit of Nemanja Matic who was left back at London to train alone as he concentrates on finding a new club.
