Tammy Abraham agrees loan deal – BBC

Tammy Abraham’s future has been decided at last, with the forward committing to a move to Swansea.

Until a few days ago, Brighton and Newcastle appeared to be leading the race for the talented England international, with the two promoted club looking like the perfect landing spot for a player who also proved himself to be a class above the Championship last term.

However Huw Jenkins, Swansea chairman, spoke to the BBC about various issues this week, and mentioned that his club were also interested in agreeing a temporary switch for the wonderkid.

Now, just a couple of days later, it has come to pass, and the BBC are reporting the switch as a done deal.

It should be a perfect move for Abraham, who will play under former Chelsea man Paul Clement in Wales. He has a strong supporting cast, but not too many top players to block his path to the first team.
