Nat Chalobah was among three Chelsea players who started for the U21s on Monday night in the European Championships.
The midfielder put in a composed performance in midfield, playing an important role for Aidy Boothroyd’s team as they came back from conceding a goal from a corner to win in their crucial second group game.
The reaction to the 22 year old’s performance on Twitter was somewhat mixed, as fans of a variety of different clubs got a look at the former Fulham youth player’s game in action.
The consensus seemed to be that he got better as the game wore on, although there was definitely not consensus that he had a good game. That tends to be how things are on social media however, and you can’t read too much into it.
These u-21s strut around as if they've made it already. Chalobah reckons he's Pogba! And don't get me started on Aidy Bothroyd….

Does Chalobah think he will push for the Chelsea first team? Dreaming if he is.

Chalobah MOTM seguro. Partidazo, arriba y abajo, muy inteligente. Apareció cuando más lo necesitaba Inglaterra. Demostró experiencia también

He's too lightweight as a lone striker. Chalobah looks comfy on the ball
