Juventus have officially completed the signing of Juan Cuadrado on a €20m (£17.3m) transfer fee, the club’s official website confirms.
The Colombian winger joined Chelsea from Serie A side Fiorentina in January of 2015 in a £23m deal, but failed to make an impression under Jose Mourinho and was loaned out to the Turin side the next summer.
He then capitalized and quickly became a regular starter under the management of Massimiliano Allegri.
He returned to Chelsea last summer and Antonio Conte was keen to retain him at Stamford Bridge, as he was a big admirer of the player.
However, Cuadrado returned to Juventus in a three-year loan deal, but his contract with the Champions League finalists has now been made permanent after the 28-year-old penned a new contract until 2020 with Juventus.
Cuadrado has helped Juventus to Serie A and Italian Cup glory, and they’re now fighting for a treble as they face Real Madrid in the final of the European Elite competition.
