FA Cup Final: Arsenal vs Chelsea – Match Preview

Chelsea’s flawless Premier League story of the season 2016/17 has come to its end, but another tale is still missing its last chapter, as we take on Arsenal in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening.

Both teams are in brilliant form as they’ve both won their last five league games scoring 15+ goals in the making, and will be very determined to add another domestic trophy to their cabinets.

Saturday’s final will be the third meeting between Chelsea and Arsenal this season.

The match will be a tight one, where Chelsea are slight favourites for the clash, but Arsene Wenger’s side even hungrier to win the trophy following their poor league campaign where they finished outside top four.

We’ll be delivering plenty of picture and video material of on our social media accounts – Twitter, Facebook – especially should Chelsea end up lifting the trophy at the end of the game!

Injury News

The best news ahead of tomorrow are that Chelsea have no injury worries in the team and Antonio Conte will have his full squad available to play with.

Arsenal have also received an injury boost in Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, but will be without key defenders Gabriel and Shkodran Mustafi, with Laurent Koscielny sidelined due to a suspension.

Predicted line-ups

Arsenal : Ospina; Holding, Mertesacker, Monreal; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey, Xhaka, Gibbs; Özil, Welbeck, Sanchez.

Match Prediction

Chelsea will have to do well to match Arsenal’s determination to clinch the FA Cup glory, but I’m positive ahead of the game and expecting the Blues to triumph 2-1 with goals from Diego Costa and Eden Hazard to cancel Alexis Sanchez’s potential opener.
