Chelsea join four-team bidding war for £40m rated Frenchman

Chelsea are reportedly set to have a new rival in their three-way bidding war with Tottenham and Arsenal for the signature of Celtic striker Moussa Dembélé.

According to Daily Express the highly-rated striker is now also a target for AC Milan, who are set to complete a big overhaul in their team following the arrival of new multi-millionaire owners.

The Scottish Premier League champions will struggle to hold on to their star man this summer, and want at least £40m should another club enter negotiations with the player.

Dembélé has bagged a stunning 32 goals in 49 appearances following his arrival from Fulham last year and he’s constantly being looked after by scouts from the Premier League.

Chelsea already approached the club over the 20-year-old striker’s signature last January, but Celtic held off the Blues as they were reluctant to let their star man leave in the middle of the season.

Now Chelsea could lose the fight with AC Milan set to table an offer for Dembélé ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window.
