Blues forward to discuss his future with Chelsea

Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore will be discussing his future at Stamford Bridge with the club this summer, as he could be spending yet another season away from West London next term.

The 21-year-old has only made 10 first-team appearances for the Blues since joining the club in 2014, and has spent two loan spells already – a season at Vitesse and another at Ajax Amsterdam.

Bertrand Traore has played for Ajax this season.

He’s currently on loan with the latter and has helped the Eredivisie side to the Europa League final, where they’ll be facing Manchester United on Wednesday night in Stockholm. Bertrand Traore has scored 13 goals for Ajax this season in all competitions, proving that he’s ready to take on a bigger challenge in a bigger league.

The Burkina Faso international discussed the upcoming final against United and his future at Chelsea ahead of Wednesday’s match, claiming he’s hoping to find himself a place in the Blyues first-team next season.

“Chelsea is my club, and I always dreamed of playing for this club.

I want to win the cup [Europa League], and return.

But I don’t make the final decision. We will see what happens.

When the season is finished I’ll go back to Chelsea, and for sure we will have a chat.”
