Arsene Wenger wants to sign want-away Chelsea striker

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen to sign Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham this summer, as the player is prepared to quit Stamford Bridge should he not be included in Antonio Conte’s first-team plans next season, The Sun reports.

Well, the source can be right about Wenger’s interest on the Chelsea man, but it’s unlikely that the 19-year-old Abraham would expect himself to become a regular starter in Conte’s team after one successful loan spell in the Championship.

Tammy Abraham was named Bristol City’s Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season and Top Goalscorer for his this season’s stellar performances.

Of course, Abraham could be a part of Chelsea’s next season’s team, but it’s not something he’d demand at this point of his career.

The Englishman netted an astonishing 23 goals in the Championship for Bristol City, helping them to avoid relegation to League One, and has therefore attracted plenty of interest around the country.

From the Premier League Eveton have also approached the striker, with plenty of Championship sides also monitoring Abraham’s situation at Stamford Bridge.

It’s still unclear where Abraham will be spending his next season at, but what’s 100 % certain is that he won’t be leaving the club permanently – especially to Arsenal.
