Lyon want Chelsea forward to replace Alexandre Lacazette

French side Olympique Lyonnais are reportedly prepared to sell their star striker Alexandre Lacazette this summer and have set their sights on Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore to replace the France international in the Ligue 1 side’s attacking ranks, Daily Star claims.

The 25-year-old Lyon man has a price-tag of £50m and Arsenal are reportedly the only Premier League team interested in his services, with Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund also linked with him.

Bertrand Traore has spent the current season on loan at Ajax Amsterdam and has scored a pile of important goals for the side in their charge for the Eredivisie title and Europa League glory, where they’ll face Lyon in the semi-finals of the tournament.

The Burkina Faso international has scored nine league goals in 22 starts for de Godenzonen this term.

He was part of Chelsea’s team last season as interim boss Guus Hiddink preferred to give him a fair amount of playing time despite his young age and small amount of experience.

It’s yet to be seen whether he has a further future in the Chelsea team, and the club will take selling him under real consideration.
