John Terry could join league rivals Liverpool or Manchester United

John Terry is still good enough to play in the Premier League, and Chelsea fans may have to brace themselves for watching him play for a rival, according to the BBC.

There had been rumours that the legendary Blues captain could be heading to join up with Tony Pulis at West Brom – as transfers go this would be one of the moves that Chelsea fans would be relatively happy with – certainly when you consider the alternative proposed on the radio last night.

On BBC5 Live Danny Mills and Charlie Adam suggested that JT was not only too good for West Brom (both of them scoffed at the idea that he would be available for a team of that size), but that he would in fact start for 18 of the 20 Premier League teams – Chelsea and Tottenham being the exceptions.

This is a real worry for Blues fans: none of us would mind seeing JT at West Brom or Bournemouth, but could we really bear seeing him in a Liverpool or Man United shirt?
