John Terry has been linked with a move to China to join up with former Chelsea teammate Gus Poyet.
Terry recently announced that he would be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season after a long and glory filled spell at the club, and now the rumours are starting about where he might end up.
The former England captain has already stated he wishes to continue playing, and teams in the Premier League have been linked with a move for the defender.
But there is also interest from further afield, and China seems like it could be a definite possibility. One of Terry’s former teammates, Gus Poyet, who was in the Blues side when JT was breaking through, has today spoken about the defender in quotes carried by the Evening Standard:
“It is a great opportunity for him and for all the teams here [in China], including us. The latest change of the quantity of foreigners on the pitch stops some clubs from bringing in defenders, but we are talking about a special one.”
