Diego Costa almost certain to leave Chelsea for China this summer

It seems like Diego Costa’s hot and cold Chelsea are is closing in to its end, as Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian are reportedly ready to do whatever it takes to land the Spanish striker at the end of the season, Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol reports.

The Chinese Super League side have already tempted the Brazil-born forward with an offer reportedly somewhere around £600,000-a-week, and are prepared to pay a ‘crazy’ transfer fee to get Chelsea to agree to sell him.

Costa was in superb form at the start of the season as he bagged 15 goals in the first half of the campaign, but his form has dropped drastically since the offer from China in January.

It’s thought that the luxurious bid has turned the head of the 29-year-old, and that is thought to have affected his mentality on the pitch aswell.

Antonio Conte is rumoured to be looking for a replacement already, with Everton’s 24-goal man Romelu Lukaku and Real Madrid outcast Alvaro Morata on top of the Blues boss’ shortlist ahead of a busy summer transfer window.
