Chelsea defender David Luis has confessed that he is a huge fan of Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs team, as the two sides racing to the Premier League title prepare to face off in the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Brazilian was quoted by Sky Sports discussing Chelsea’s title rivals, and despite the ever growing enmity between the two clubs, had nothing but compliments for the North London side.
“For me they are an amazing team with an amazing coach in Maurico Pochettino. They are the best physical team in the League. All 11 players are monsters. I love that team,” the former Benfica man enthused.
Tottenham have made up a lot of ground on Chelsea in the title race over the last few weeks as the Blues have wobbled against Crystal Palace and Manchester United, allowing Spurs to cut the gap to just four points. Chelsea’s ongoing illness issue has further weakened a side that looks to be struggling at a vital moment.
Unfortunately for Mauricio Pochettino and his men, tomorrow’s game is in the FA Cup, and they will not be able to claw their way any closer to Chelsea with a win.
