Chelsea reach agreement over transfer of Alvaro Morata

Chelsea have reportedly come to an agreement with Real Madrid over the transfer of Alvaro Morata, Diario Gol reports.

The Spanish forward has recently been dropping plenty of hints towards a move to Chelsea as the Blues have been monitoring the 24-year-old striker’s situation for some time now.

Blues boss Antonio Conte is a huge fan of the player as he signed Morata on loan to Juventus while he was in charge of the Italian side, and was hopeful of bringing him with him to Stamford Bridge last summer when he arrived himself.

Alvaro Morata and Antonio Conte share a good relationship.

Real Madrid were reluctant to let Morata go and decided to keep him instead of selling him to either Chelsea or Juventus.

Now, reports in Spain suggest that Conte is finally going to get his man.

Previous speculation has linked Chelsea star Eden Hazard for a move the other way, but it’s believed that the West London side are not prepared to let the Belgian go unless Real Madrid emerge offering at least £100m for the 26-year-old winger.
