Antonio Conte drops worrying hint of leaving Chelsea for Inter Milan

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has dropped a worrying hint of leaving Stamford Bridge to make a return to Italy, where Milanese sides Inter and AC Milan have been linked with a move for him, from which the Nerazzurri the most recent side, Football.Italia reports.

The Italian tactician was hosted in an Italian comedy show ‘Emigratis’ where comedian duo Pio and Amedeo tend to interview famous Italian emigres and ask them for food and shelter.

Well, it turned out that the two showmen had decided to travel to London in January ahead of Chelsea’s clash against Hull City to reserve a room from the same hotel as the Blues squad, looking to interview the ex-Juve and Azzurri boss during their trip.

“It took me six months to get the English to appreciate me and then you two come along…” Antonio Conte joked.

While eating sandwiches, the pair asked Conte whether he likes to live in London, only for the Blues manager to answer unconvincingly: “Well…”

Would you return to Italy was the next question, to which Conte assertively responded: “Yes. My heart is always in Italy.”

But when claimed that in Italy no one could afford Conte’s wages, he then replied: “Haven’t the new owners come in now?”

Inter and AC Milan have both been taken over by new multimillionaire investors recently, making Conte’s response a big hint towards his home land.

However, it’d be very unlikely for us to see Conte depart after just one season in Blue, especially when he’s so close to clinch a double of trophies in both the Premier League and FA Cup.
