AS Monaco full-back Djibril Sidibe is a summer target for Premier League leaders Chelsea, according to the Metro.
Sidibe has been an important member of Monaco’s side this season – and what a campaign the Ligue 1 outfit are having. Top of the league in France and through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, it is proving to be a stellar season for Sidibe’s side; and he has been instrumental in their success.
The 24-year-old has proven himself to be both reliable at the back and effective going forward, having provided five assists for his teammates this term. His good performances appear to have captured the attention of Antonio Conte.
According to the Metro, Chelsea are interested in securing Sidibe’s services in the upcoming transfer window. The Frenchman is able to play at both right-back and left-back, which makes him a useful utility option. He also has the potential to establish himself as an important member of the starting side.
