Chelsea ready to sell Michy Batshuayi this summer

According to Daily Mirror, Chelsea are ready to ditch their last summer’s £33m signing Michy Batshuayi and sell him on this summer.

The Belgian international’s career at the Blues hasn’t started in an easy way, as even after 26 games, he’s still yet to make a start in the Premier League for Chelsea.

Batshuayi was close to signing for West Ham in the summer, as the fellow Londoner side had already agreed a deal with Olympique de Marseille before Chelsea stepped in to steal the player from in front of the rival club’s noses.

Michy Batshuayi has scored just one goal in the league for Chelsea.

The Hammers had surely had more use for Batshuayi, which is why they’re still looking to complete a deal for the player if Chelsea decide to sell this summer.

Antonio Conte is hopeful of retaining Diego Costa at the club despite the big-money offer from Chinese Super League, but it’s believed that Chelsea are planning to sign a new world-class striker regardless of that.

The Italian boss is also showing interest on including youngster Tammy Abraham to his first-team striker ranks for next campaign, which would also be another issue maker for Batshuayi at Chelsea.
