Chelsea midfielder ‘feels good’ when he’s linked with Barcelona

Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has admitted that it “feels good” when he is linked with big clubs like Barcelona.

He also reiterated that despite the links his focus remained entirely on Chelsea, where he has a job on battling with Cesc Fabregas for a spot alongside N’Golo Kante in midfield. With 30 appearances already this season, he’s been impressive and Barca need some legs to play alongside their more creative players.

The quotes, carried in papers like The Metro, suggests that the Serbian dynamo likes to be linked with top clubs abroad because it indicates his form is good. That’s certainly been the case this season, with the former Benfica man back to his best following a torrid season in 2015/16.
