Chelsea lodge stunning £43M offer for Bayern Munich star

Chelsea are interested in signing Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, according to Calciomercato.

Coman is a product of French giants PSG’s academy. After becoming the youngest player to ever play for the Ligue 1 outfit, he left upon the expiry of his contract. He put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal with Juventus – but struggled to find regular first-team football in Turin.

He subsequently decided to move again, this time joining Bayern Munich on a two-year loan. It is unusual for a player to make appearances for three of the world’s biggest sides while still a teenager, but that is testament to Coman’s supreme talent.

He is still not owned by Bayern on a permanent basis, which appears to have offered Chelsea some encouragement. Calciomercato believe that the Premier League leaders have lodged a £43million bid to try and secure Coman’s services. However, the Italian outlet note that he is still expected to move to the Allianz Arena on a permanent basis.
