Chelsea defender keen on loan move after falling out of favour

Chelsea centre back Kurt Zouma has spoken about his lack of game time this season, and has admitted he would be prepared to make a loan move away from the club.

The Frenchman is quoted by ITV as saying that, having recovered from a bad knee injury just over a year ago, he is willing to try a temporary switch to another club to regain his form and fitness ahead of a World Cup year next year.

Zouma has made only four starts for the Blues this year despite the switch to a three man back line, with David Luiz, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta all performing exceptionally well in the back three.

While he’s willing to make a temporary switch for game time, Zouma also emphasised that he is still happy at Chelsea, and is still focused on his current club.

Blues fans will all be hoping that the 22 year old can break back into Antonio Conte’s side. He established himself as a fan favourite before his injury, and is a popular figure around Stamford Bridge.
