Bayern Munich plot surprise move for Chelsea academy product

Bayern Munich are interested in signing disgruntled Chelsea starlet Dominic Solanke, according to Calciomercato.

Solanke is widely considered one of the most promising of the current crop of Chelsea academy products. The 19-year-old earned himself a move to Vitesse after his good performances through the youth ranks, and took the professional football like a fish to water.

However, as Calciomercato report, Solanke is unhappy with life at Stamford Bridge. The England U-21 international has been kept as part of Antonio Conte’s squad for this season, but has not played a minute of football. He could subsequently seek the exit door in search of regular first-team football – and there will be no shortage of potential suitors.

Calciomercato believe that Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are interested in securing Solanke’s signature when his Chelsea contract comes to an end at the season’s end.

However, they are not alone in the race to sign the Blues prodigy. Calciomercato believe that Everton, Sunderland, Arsenal, West Ham, Rangers and Celtic are all also interested in signing Solanke.
