Conte prepared to part with £21.5M to reunite with Inter star

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is keen to reunite with Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva, report Calciomercato.

Candreva established himself as one of the best wide-players in Serie A during his time at Lazio. The 30-year-old made 150 appearances in Italy’s top tier for the Rome-based club, scoring 41 goals.

In the summer of 2016, Candreva moved to Lazio’s Serie A counterparts Inter, for what Calciomercato report to be a £18million fee. He has found the back of the net six times for the Italian heavyweights this term, and his good performances appear to have captured the attention of one of his former bosses.

Candreva worked under Chelsea boss Conte for the Italian national team, for whom he has made 44 appearances. Calciomercato cite fellow Italian reports in claiming that Conte wants to reunite with his former player. They believe that Conte is prepared to part with as much as £21.5million to secure his services, a fee that is expected to be enough to convince Inter to sell.
