Antonio Conte wants loan star to stay at Chelsea next season

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reportedly keen to integrate academy star Tammy Abraham to his first-team squad next season, according to Daily Mirror.

The 19-year-old striker has had a terrific season at Championship side Bristol City, where he’s spending the season on loan.

He has bagged 18 goals to his name in all competitions, and is a key player in the team’s fight against relegation.

Conte has noticed Abraham’s great form in the second highest division of England, and is willing to give him a chance in the Chelsea team next campaign.

Abraham will be facing a good fight for first action though, with Diego Costa looking likely to stay at Stamford Bridge over next summer.

Michy Batshuayi will also be very determined to impress the Italian tactician as he’s still yet to make a start in the Premier League for the Blues.

Abraham is currently at Chelsea after injuring his thigh while playing for Bristol City, but will return to his loan club this week.
