Eden Hazard did not score agaisnt Swansea on Saturday, but he did achieve an equally impressive record.

While Cesc Fabregas dominated the headlines with his 300th Premier League start and the assist that took him level with Frank Lampard behind only Ryan Giggs in the all tiem assist list, his teammate Hazard was acheieving an impressive short term record.

The Belgian winger was a constant menace to the Swansea defenders, pulling them all over the pitch and creating space for his teammates to exploit. While this hard work and creativity wasn’t rewarded with his name on the scoresheet, he did grab an assist for Diego Costa’s decisive third goal which really wrapped the game up.

This assist was the fourth that Hazard has managed in 5 home games. This is a seriously good haul that shows just how well the Chelsea star is playing at the moment. His involvement in the first goal, while it wasn’t registered as an official assist, was also vitally important and showed just how much he is doing for the team at the moment.
