Chelsea forward Eden Hazard could be dropped to the bench for this Sunday’s Premier League clash against Burnley, as the player is currently suffering from a calf injury, according to PhysioRoom.
Antonio Conte will have a big decision to make since the flying winger has been one of the Blues’ key players this season, helping the team to a victory in every game he has scored, but due to his injury Pedro and Willian, who are both in very strong form, could replace him.
Hazard scored one of the goals of the season last weekend when the Blues hosted London rivals Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, as his fine dribble through the middle of the field led to Chelsea’s winning goal in the 3-1 win over the Gunners.
Conte is likely to confirm whether Hazard is in playing shape or not in the pre-match press conference later this week, but for now, we can only prepare to face the Clarets without our Belgian star.
