Chelsea vs Swansea City – Team News

We’re back at Premier League action, and for the first time this year, we’ll be taking part at the classic 0300 pm Saturday kick-off at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea host relegation-runaways Swansea City, the team that’s currently being managed by former Chelsea coach Paul Clement, and assisted by ex-Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele.

And what comes to the team news, well, the starting line up pretty much picks itself nowadays. Only change from our previous league game is made in the midfield position, where Cesc Fabregas starts ahead of Nemanja Matic.

Thibaut Courtois has recovered in time from his illness and he begins between the sticks for Chelsea with captain Gary Cahill, Cesar Azpilicueta and David Luiz in front of him.

Nemanja Matic is dropped for Cesc Fabregas, partnering N’Golo Kante in the centre. Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso on the wing-back positions, as expected.

Pedro is looking to continue his great goal-scoring form on the right, while Eden Hazard and Diego Costa attack alongside him.

Here are the full team line-ups for both sides…
