Chelsea ace wants club to sell him with £10m offer tabled

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has reportedly renewed his interest on Chelsea back-up keeper Asmir Begovic and wants to sign the player this summer, according to The Mirror.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina keeper was already close to moving away from the club this January after the Premier League side made a £10m offer for the 29-year-old, but the transfer never materialized since the Blues were unable to find him a suitable replacement.

Despite the setback earlier this year, The Cherries are looking to make another bid of same value in the summer and it’s believed that Antonio Conte is ready to let the player leave for a first-choice keeper’s role he’s after.

Chelsea made a £3m bid for Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon in the winter transfer window but the offer was rebuffed, and the Blues will have to be on the look-out for another option if Begovic departs this summer.

The Blues first-choice keeper Thibaut Courtois has also told to be keen on a move away from Stamford Bridge, as he has reportedly told his friends he’s interested in moving to La Liga giants Real Madrid this summer.
