Antonio Conte to run the rule over Chelsea target in Burnley clash

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is set to run the rule over Burnley defender Michael Keane as the Blues travel to Turf Moor today, according to Metro.

The Blues have shown major interest on signing the 24-year-old English centre-back, who has had an impressive season with the Clarets escaping the relegation zone with style.

Michael Keane has been impressive for Burnley this season.

Keane only 12 months left in his contract when the season comes to a close, and it’s believed that the club are resigned to lose their key man for a move to a bigger club.

Conte’s men have a chance to go 12 points clear on top of the Premier League table following Tottenham’s submission against Liverpool, but will have to be on their best to be able to claim the full three points from the tie.

The Italian tactician will have a chance to see Keane in action, and he’s likely to perform well today as Burnley have been one of the strongest home sides this term, winning nine out of their 13 home games this season.
